Accreditation of Distance Learning Programmes

Accreditation for your course will be provided through Study House Limited which is a licenced centre for the awarding bodies listed below. Once you have registered for your course Study House will ensure that you are registered with the appropriate awarding body and that your accreditation and certification is undertaken in accordance with awarding body regulations.

ASET

A leading awarding body providing accredited awards and qualifications as follows:

ASET Qualifications – qualifications listed on the UK national Qualifications Framework

ASET National Awards - programmes designed, quality-assured and certificated by ASET with learning outcomes accredited by ASET at a level equivalent to the UK national levels described below

ASET Awards – designed and delivered by ASET licenced centres and accredited & certificated by ASET. Learning outcomes are accredited by ASET at a level equivalent to the UK national levels described below. Students who complete an ASET award receive a nationally recognised certificate.

ABC Awards

ABC Qualifications – qualifications listed on the UK National Qualifications Framework

ABC Awards – designed and delivered by ABC licenced centres and accredited & certificated by ABC. Learning outcomes are accredited by ABC at a level equivalent to the UK national levels described below

Levels of Qualifications and Awards

All of the awards and qualifications for which Study House is a licenced centre are accredited according to the levels defined by The National Qualifications Framework which is the educational framework endorsed by the three UK regulatory authorities (QCA, ACCAC & CCEA) and it defines levels of learning in terms of both academic and vocational qualifications. The NQF defines levels of learning in terms of both academic and vocational qualifications.

Entry	ASET National Awards	Qualifications and awards recognise basic knowledge and skills and the ability to apply learning in everyday situations under direct guidance or supervision. Learning at this level involves building basic knowledge and skills and is not geared towards specific occupations.
1	No awards offered at this level	Qualifications and awards recognise basic knowledge and skills and the ability to apply learning with guidance or supervision. Learning at this level is about activities which mostly relate to everyday situations and may be linked to job competence.
2	ASET Certificates ABC Qualifications	Qualifications and awards recognise the ability to gain a good knowledge and understanding of a subject area of work or study, and to perform varied tasks with some guidance or supervision. Learning at this level involves building knowledge and/or skills in relation to an area of work or a subject area and is appropriate for many job roles.
3	ASET Diplomas OCN Diplomas IAB Qualifications GOAL Qualifications	Qualifications and awards recognise the ability to gain, and where relevant apply a range of knowledge, skills and understanding. Learning at this level involves obtaining detailed knowledge and skills. It is appropriate for people wishing to go to university, people working independently, or in some areas supervising and training others in their field of work.
3	ASET Advanced Diplomas	Qualifications and awards recognise specialist learning and involve detailed analysis of a high level of information and knowledge in an area of work or study. Learning at this level is appropriate for people working in technical and professional jobs, and/or managing and developing others. Level 4 qualifications are at a level equivalent to Certificates of Higher Education.
